Program Desciption:
The Access to Business Capital [ABC] Program, established in 2004 in Southern California is now CAHCC’s flagship statewide program throughout local Hispanic Chambers of Commerce!
Since it’s inception it has developed into a multi-faceted program whose vision is to provide business owners and entrepreneurs with additional tools and non-traditional sources of capital for business growth. The ABC Committee has focused its efforts on improving the opportunities for minority and women-owned firms to acquire venture capital.
Access to Business Capital has numerous programs aimed at improving the financial viability and wellbeing of small business owners.
These include: :
- ABC SERIES The Access to Business Capital Series seeks growing businesses that are ready to receive private equity financing to help grow and expand their companies.
- ABC TRAINING [ETP] The primary goal of this program is to provide training & mentoring to small business owners and entrepreneurs while assisting them in their efforts to seek capital.
- LEGISLATIVE WORK AND THE EMERGING DOMESTIC MARKET GROUP
The California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Access to Business Capital Committee is dedicated to improving the opportunities for Hispanic minority and women-owned firms to acquire venture capital; this includes advocacy at the congressional level.
